The Forbes bosses and money mag went under the table lamp and did some serious calculations to discover that Rupert Grint and Emma Watson of the Harry Potter series were the highest grossing on screen couple. The criteria was simple, an actor and actress must appear opposite each other on screen for at least two times in the last 10 years to get featured on the list.

Kristen Stewart and Rupert Grint seems to have done okay this weekend as far as their films are concerned although it was ‘Saw 3D’ that seems to have made the most on the Halloween weekend. The low budget independent flicks, however, saw intense competition amongst themselves and it was an all out war for the fans of ‘Twilight’ and ‘Harry Potter’.

Washington, November 02 : Harry Potter star Rupert Grint has replaced Steve Coogan for the role of British ski-jump legend Eddie ''The Eagle'' Edwards in a new film, it has emerged.

Coogan was first offered the film about the comical athlete''s Olympic journey in 2007, reports Contactmusic.

Now, British newspaper the Sunday Mirror has reported that Grint will substitute the Night At the Museum star in the movie directed by Declan Lowney.

London, Aug 24 : Harry Potter star Rupert Grint has said that he wants to play a negative role in his next film.

"I have always played the good guys so far. I''d love to play a baddy and maybe beat some people up - do something different. I''m definitely a character actor," the Telegraph quoted him as saying.

He also expressed his desire to do theatre some day, like his co-star in the wizard franchise Daniel Radcliffe, who performed in the musical Equus.

He said: "I would love to do some theatre but I''ve really only done school plays." (ANI)

London, July 07 : Harry Potter star Rupert Grint, who has now recovered from a mild bout of swine flu, has revealed that he thought he would die when he was first told that he had been infected with the disease.

"It was quite scary when they first told me I had swine flu, after what''s been in the press and stuff. I thought, ''Am I going to die?''" the Telegraph quoted him as saying at a press conference for `Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince'.
