Mumbai, Sep 2 : Actor Imran Khan, who entered Hindi filmdom just three years ago, says he loves the three big Khans of Bollywood - Salman, Aamir and Shah Rukh - for their different qualities that set them apart.

Shah Rukh, Katrina come together for Yashraj

New Delhi, June 27 : It'll be for the first time that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will romance Katrina Kaif on the big screen. And the credit for it goes to filmmaker Yash Chopra who is directing the two in his untitled film.
Chopra last directed "Veer Zaara" way back in 2004 and now he is back with this new movie that also features Anushka Sharma of "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi". The film's music will be given by A. R. Rahman while Gulzar will pen the lyrics.
Big B is `stunning actor and gentleman,' says King Khan

Toronto, June 26 : For King Khan, Big B is still the super star of Bollywood. Asked about his super status at a press conference here, Shah Rukh Khan said the credit for his success should be given to "people who work behind scenes".
It would be wrong for him to claim the whole credit for his current status, said King Khan.
The super star said Big B remains "the most stunning actor and a gentleman".

New Delhi, June 20 : Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has showered praises on his "RA. One" co-star Kareena Kapoor for her hard work and sincerity in completing the shooting in time.
"Finished the last few bits and pieces of 'RA. One' with Kareena. Want to thank her for working so hard and fast... she was such a sport. Hope we haven't tanned her too much in the hot sun," Shah Rukh posted on his Twitter page.
The actors were busy shooting portions of the film in Hyderabad. "RA. One" is a much-awaited superhero film, in which Kareena plays Shah Rukh's love interest.

New Delhi, June 10 : Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has condoled the demise of legendary painter M. F. Husain by remembering him as an immortal personality. The actor regerts he coudn't meet him for one last time and says he will always miss him.
"I have been very close to him, and I just can't believe he is no more. I'm a big fan of his work. The walls in my house are full of his paintings. I was working very late and I got up late when I got know that Husain saab has passed away. I always believed he is an immortal personality," Shah Rukh told NDTV.

Mumbai, June 7 : Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, who has been writing his autobiography since many years now, has revealed that his book is almost near completion and he would be releasing it very soon.
The book that has been christened "Twenty Years In A Decade" will focus on the life of the 45-year-old actor from the year 1991 to 2001.

New Delhi, June 6 : Hollywood loves visual effects or VFX, though the same can't be said of the over Rs. 80-billion ($1.6 billion) Indian film industry. However, a co-production by Bollywood badshah Shah Rukh Khan may be about to change things in India.
His mega-budget "Ra. One" reportedly has 3,500 VFX shots, which could mark a new beginning for the technology in Indian filmdom.
Shah Rukh, who has co-produced "RA. One" with Eros Entertainment, admits Indian filmmakers cannot match their international counterparts in the use of technology but says he is trying to make his superhero movie a world class experience.

New Delhi, June 5 : She is 28, has written a book, is a London School of Economics (LSE) alumnus and has penned the screenplay and dialogues of Shah Rukh Khan's "RA. One", touted to be Bollywood's costliest film. Kanika Dhillon, the creative content head of Shah Rukh's Red Chillies Entertainment, says the star is among the few producers in Bollywood who nurture young talent.
"When I came to work in Mumbai, I knew I wanted to work with Shah Rukh Khan. Look at what he's done, where he's come from... and what he is today. His success story is a fable!," Dhillon, originally from Amritsar, told IANS.

Gurgaon, June 2 : Mega-budget superhero movie "RA. One" is Shah Rukh Khan's most ambitious project and he is trying to make it a world-class film, but at the same time he feels Indian filmmakers cannot compete with international moviemakers in the use of technology.
"I don't think we are anywhere close to competing with international filmmakers. I don't mean to offend anyone. We have great storytelling, good technology and do great stuff... we are the largest film producing nation in the world!

New Delhi, June 2 : "The more successful the villain, the more successful the picture" - it is these words by acclaimed filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock that inspired superstar Shah Rukh Khan to title his most ambitious superhero project, "RA. One" based on the villain's name.
Shah Rukh chose to name his upcoming flick "RA. One", based on the villain's role essayed by Arjun Rampal, and not as "G. One", his own character in the film.

The Bollywood superstar is now aiming to create a Limca Book of World Records by launching a 3,600-foot long fan mail, which will travel through 50 BIG Cinemas properties across India, allowing audiences to share their messages for the actor.
The fan mail was launched during the theatrical trailer launch event of "Ra. One" in Mumbai Tuesday, and the first two Shah Rukh fans to sign the fan mail were the winners of a contest hosted by BIG Cinemas, a division of Reliance Mediaworks.

Mumbai, May 21 : Nothing could be a bigger platform than Kolkata's Eden Gardens to draw such huge public attention at one time to the new faces of "Always Kabhi Kabhi", superstar Shah Rukh Khan's latest production.
The cast and crew of the film would accompany Khan to support his Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in its face-off with the Mumbai Indians there Sunday.
"We are all going to Kolkata on May 22 to watch the KKR match at Edens," actor Ali Fazal, one of the four lead-cast of the film, told IANS Saturday.

Nearly two decades after featuring in fiction shows like "Circus" and "Fauji", the superstar recently shot a cameo for Colors' new show "Sasural Simar Ka".The 45-year-old was quite excited about the shoot, and squeezed in time out of his choc-a-bloc schedule for it, said a source from the channel. The channel arranged to shoot the sequence at Mannat, his residence in Bandra, Mumbai.

Mumbai, April 3 : Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan said "Chak De!" on the Indian cricket team winning the cricket World Cup in a thriller against Sri Lanka here Saturday.
"Chak De India," Shah Rukh exclaimed in front of media at his Bandra residence after the team picked up the trophy.
Until India winning the World Cup the tattoo 'D' in his hand was meant for "Don 2" but from now it would mean skipper M. S. Dhoni, said the actor.

Mumbai, April 1 : One would have thought Bollywood stars would come out in full force at the Wankhede Stadium Saturday, but actors Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan seem to be the only top stars who will be cheering the Men in Blue.
Shooting schedules will keep big names like Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu away from the field where India and Sri Lanka will play the World Cup final. Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar are planning to watch the game on TV at home.

Mumbai, March 31 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who caught the historic India-Pakistan World Cup semifinal with a group actor of friends at his residence Mannat, said India was going to win the final as well.
King Khan is going to watch Saturday's India-Sri Lanka final at Wankhade Stadium with his children.
"We will win the final also. I have bought an extra T-Shirt for that... so I have to go there and watch the finals Inshallah! The kids want to go and see," Shah Rukh told reporters at Mannat.

Mumbai, March 26 : Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan says his upcoming sci-fi superhero film "RA. One" is an attempt to create something that will change the genre of Indian films.
"It's an indigenously made film and it's made in VFX studios in India and is trying to create something which will change the genre of films. If Indian filmmakers would like to make something alike, they have the access to the technology," King Khan told reporters at FICCI-Frames Friday.
