PETA pro-veggie commercial dumped for too much sexuality

PETA LogoNew York, Jan 28 : A PETA pro-veggie commercial has been taken off by NBC because it exceeded their sexuality standards.

The ad had been planned for the Super Bowl, but was pulled out because, according to NBC Universal''s advertising standards executive Victoria Morgan, it depicted a higher level of sexuality than was allowed.

The ad, which carries the tagline, "Studies Show Vegetarians Have Better Sex," showed lingerie-clad models getting "intimate" with vegetables.

There was even one shot where an actress was showed "rubbing her pelvic region with pumpkin."

"PETA''s veggie ads are locked out, while ads for fried chicken and burgers are allowed, even though these foods make Americans fat, sick and boring in bed," the New York Post quoted a PETA rep as saying. (ANI)
