With his Tollywood debut film ‘Leader’ slated for a release on February 19, the upcoming newcomer Rana Daggubati is also marking his foray into Bollywood with the Hindi film ‘Dum Maaro Dum,’ by Rohan Sippy.

Rana, who boasts an illustrious lineage, is the son of producer Suresh Babu and the grandson of actor-turned-producer D. Rama Naidu.

Featuring Rana and two other lead actors, Abhishek Bachchan and Prateek Babbar, ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ – which will be second film of Rana’s career - is supposedly based on the Hollywood flick ‘Traffic;’ and is about the drugs racket in Goa.

Rana’s character in ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ is that of a Goan Musician, who not only gets to share screen space with Bipasha Basu, one of Bollywood’s hottest actresses; but also gets a chance to romance the sexy heroine who plays the character of an attractive Goan junkie!
