London, Aug 3 : British funnyman Ricky Gervais is planning to quit acting to focus on direction.
Last year, Gervais directed `Ghost Town' and the success of the movie has tempted him to wear the director's cap permanently.
"I have fallen in love with directing now, almost as much as writing," the Daily Star quoted Gervais as saying.
"If I am going to drop one, I would phase out my acting. If you have got the stamina and someone gives you enough money, you can write, direct, act and produce.
"(Former British Prime Minister) Winston Churchill said, ''If you find a job you love, you will never work again''. That''s how I feel," he added.
Gervais has not only written and acted in the hit television comedies series `The Office and Extras' but also made his presence felt in Hollywood with movies like `Night At The Museum' and `For Your Consideration'. (ANI)
