SC notice has nothing to worry- Says A Raja

A-RajaThe Telecom minister A Raja has said that he is not concerned about the recent Supreme Court notice. Recently, Supreme Court has issued a notice against Raja over the 2G spectrum allocation. There has been an allegation on the minister that he had a role in the allocation of the spectrum of 2G network in India.

However, Raja has strongly denied any of his roles in this issue. He has said that such issues have been "politically motivated" and are false accusations. He has said this to the media after an event organized at FICCI.

Raja has also hinted some of the inside facts of this allegations. He has said that there has been political involvement in this case.

As per Raja, some of the companies in the telecom sector are also involved in behind this petition.

However, as per the petition, the Telecom Minister has illegally distributed the pan India licence for the2G spectrum in the year of 2008 without any prior guideline. It was done on a first-come-first-served basis and had raised Rs 1,651 crore.
