Sensex Drops Nearly 100 Points Leaving Traders Worried The Sensex dropped to the negative zone and it has made some traders a bit worried. However, the auto and IT sectors have enough strength to help the index tough a high of 18,838. The Sensex was down 55 points at 18,759 along with Nifty which was down 16 points.

However, the ongoing crisis in Europe is still a problem that many investors are dealing with. The Asian marked has ended on a flat note because of Greece's current situation. The Hang Sang was doing 0.1%. For the sixth day straight this Asian marked has been suffering, though investors are hoping that the economy for the company improves.

Benchmarks remain weak due to the absences of buying activity and a sharp rally last week that subdued global cues. Oil and gas have also declined, however auto, IT and mechanics have still remained strong even during this time.

Taking a closer look at the Bombay Stock Exchange Sensex, it was down 98 points from the last close at 12:55pm. It went from the morning's high of 18,837 to a love of 18,695.
