Somali insurgents have captured the pirate heaven. They have taken the full control of one of the main pirate heaven in the center of the country. As per the public, hundred numbers of men of the Hizbul Islam group had taken control of the coastal town of Harad here. Somalia is not having proper governance since last 20 years. The Somali Government is not effective and have improper plan of action.

Meanwhile Hizbul Islam chief operations Mohamed Abdi Aros has said that they came to the spot to help the local people and provide security to them after receiving a request from the localities. Hundreds of pirates moved out of the town before the militants have entered there.

Hizbul Islam wants the Sharia law to be implemented in the town and it doesn't want to leave any trend for the pirates. Few days ago they have entered to this town and have demanded a share of piracy trade.

The pirates have also seized a number of ships. Another Islamic group al-Shabad is also having the same agenda just as Hizbul Islam.
