Mumbai-headquartered Spanco Telesystems & Solutions has secured the Orissa State Data Center (SDC) project, valued at Rs 30 crore.

The latest deal is the first SDC order in the country and is the part of the core infrastructure under the National eGovernance Program instituted by the Department of Information Technology.

Under the contract, the data centres will consolidate services, applications and infrastructure to deliver government-to-government, consumer and business services. The project will be implemented over a period of 4 months.
