New Delhi, Oct 4 : The grand opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games (CWG) Sunday evening, telecast live by Doordarshan (DD), was watched by about 67 percent of the estimated 130 million houeholds -- that is
87 million households -- across the country, a top DD official said here Monday.
"The feedback we received says that the opening ceremony was viewed by 67 percent of TV homes," Doordarshan director general Aruna Sharma told IANS.
The three-hour ceremony was aired in all the countries participating in the Games, she said.(IANS)
