London, July 30: Manchester City's latest signing Sergio Aguero has said that he does not care if fellow Argentina star Carlos Tevez leaves the Etihad Stadium.
Aguero spoke at length to another Argentina ace, Pablo Zabaleta, about joining City, but only briefly to Tevez.
Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Juventus are all back in the hunt for Tevez after his proposed 40 million pound move to Brazilian club Corinthians collapsed.
"Me and Carlos are friends, we've played together in the national team. But it's up to him what he wants to do. I spoke to Pablo a lot because I know him from the Olympics and from Holland. He is more than a team-mate, he is a good friend," the Sun quoted Aguero, as saying.
"I have spoken with Carlos, too - I do not have the same relationship with him as I do with Pablo, because I have known him for longer. But he is resting now on holiday and I have to respect that."
"If he is here, then that's fine, but if not I will adapt without him. Things are as they are. I have only been with the group for one day and I have to adapt as quickly as possible," he added.
Manchester City signed Aguero for 38 million pounds earlier this week. (ANI)
