Ahead of Barclays finals, Murray warns rivals that his best is yet to come

New York, Nov. 21 : Andy Murray has warned his rivals that his best is yet to come, as he kicks off his Barclays ATP World Tour finals charge this afternoon against Spain''s David Ferrer.
Murray watched the action at the O2 with interest yesterday as Roger Federer made hard work of seeing off Jo Wilfried Tsonga 6-2 2-6 6-4.
The Scot, 24, is just a week older than world No 1 Novak Djokovic, who begins his push against Tomas Berdych tonight.
Murray insists he has not reached his peak, but with Federer''s best days behind him, Murray reckons there is much more in his tank.
Murray has enjoyed his most successful campaign and a first-ever win at this event would set up him up superbly for another tilt at Grand Slam glory in Australia in January.
The Sun quoted him, as saying: "It has been my best year. Even if you just move one step up in the rankings; that shows you''re making progress. When you are going backwards, that''s when you worry.
"I''ve still got a lot of improving to do, many players have their best seasons at 26 or 27. I think it''s the most competitive era in tennis and, no, I don''t wish I was playing in another time,” he added.
"I''ve had a lot of tough losses and that''s made me a better player," Murray said. (ANI)
