Islamabad, Sept 24 : Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram has slammed Shoaib Akhtar's over his controversial autobiography in which the former right arm fast bowler has claimed that Indian cricketer Sachin
Tendulkar, who is also referred to as the God of cricket, was afraid of his bowling.
"I don't think that a great player like Sachin or any batsman can get scared of a bowler. I think he can write anything to sell his book, but it does not make any difference to me, not it should bother Sachin," Akram said.
Akram also refuted Akhtar'sclaims that he was responsible for destroying his career, saying that everybody knows that he was himself responsible for destroying it.
"I know, Shoaib knows and this is something that the whole world knows that he himself is responsible for ruining his career," he added.
Akram said Shoaib, who was a controversial figure all through his playing career, was just trying to sell his book by making big claims. (ANI)
