London, Dec. 31 : Inter coach Jose Mourinho can forget any ideas of a shock return to Chelsea, says current club manager Carlo Ancelotti.
"He''ll have to wait because I''m now the manager and I am staying here. As far as I''m concerned, Mourinho is coach of Inter Milan so he is not my opponent," The Sun quoted him, as saying.
Ancelotti, Chelsea''s fourth boss since Mourinho was sacked in September 2007, added: "It does not surprise me he wants to come back to England. He spent three years at Chelsea and he knows the English game and the environment here very well.”
"The Premier League is the best competition in the world, so it is only natural any coach would want to work here. I respect him and that is it. Finished," he said.
Ancelotti frequently clashed with Mourinho when he was boss of AC Milan and will get to renew their rivalry when Chelsea face Inter in the next round of the Champions League. (ANI)
