Arsenal’s Fabregas urges club’s players to make history

London, Apr. 28 : Arsenal striker and captain Cesc Fabregas has urged the team's players to seize the day and become Champions League History Boys ahead of their first European encounter at Manchester United tomorrow.

According to the Daily Express, Fabregas is one of three survivors from Arsenal's starting line-up who lost the 2006 final to Barcelona.

He said: "It doesn't get much bigger than a semi-final against Manchester United. When English teams face each other in the Champions League, it can look more like a domestic league or cup match than a European game. But, we need to realise it's not like that and we just want to be in the final again."

"To be in two Champions League finals in four years could be one of the best things in the history of the club and we're determined to make it happen. We respect United as one of the best in the world. It will be a massive occasion. These games are very difficult for both sides - the team who defend better will be the one who go through. The smallest mistake can count," he added. (ANI)
