London, Nov 20: Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has received a police caution for common assault over a street brawl in Kensington, London.
Wilshere was arrested and bailed following the incident in the early hours of August 29.
"An 18-year-old male has attended a west London police station where he received a caution for common assault," the Telegraph quoted a Metropolitan Police spokesman, as saying.
The 18-year-old star was held after a woman suffered a broken arm and a man received facial injuries in the fight outside Amika nightclub where he had been with friends celebrating Arsenal's Premier League victory over Blackburn.
However, Wilshere's spokesman has repeatedly claimed that the footballer was a peacemaker in the incident.
"The police have made it very clear that he is an important witness to the incident and played the role of peacemaker and is unlikely to face any charges as a result," the spokesman had said.
"Jack has made it very clear he will cooperate fully with the police investigation," he added. (ANI)
