Guangzhou, Nov 19 : Indian weightlifters Sarabjit finished 10th in the 105+ kg category while Geeta Rani came sixth and last in the women's 75+ kg at the Asian Games here Saturday.
Sarabjit lifted 160 kg in snatch and 180 in clean and jerk for a total of 340, finishing 10th in the 11-man field.
Iranian Behdad Salimikordasiabi won the gold, lifting 440 kg (205 +235) while South Korea's Jeon Sangguen took the silver (428, 190 +238). Iran's Anoushiravani Sajjad (427, 195+232) got the bronze.
In women's 75+ kg, Geeta lifted 227 kg (95kg + 132).
South Korean Jang Mi Ran won the gold with a overall lift of 311 kg (130, 181). China's Suping Meng took the silver (311, 135 + 176) while Kazakhstan's Mariya Grabovetskaya 290 (135 + 155) got the bronze.(IANS)
