Sydney, Jan 30 : Over 2.4 million people stayed up to watch Novak Djokovic crowned as the 2012 Australian Open champion. The epic battle between Rafael Nadal and Djokovic ended at 1.37am on the Seven Network. Around 2.415 million Australians watched it till the presentation ceremony, which made it the most watched television program of the evening. (5), 7-5 in a thrilling five-set match that lasted five hours and 53 minutes which is the longest in a grand slam history, The Sydney Morning Herald reports.
