London, Nov 15: Ace midfielder David Beckham has refused to give up on playing for England, even though he will be 37 when Euro 2012 begins.
The 115-cap star is tipped to join French club Paris St Germain in a bid to restart his international career.
Commenting on whether Beckham was in his plans for the Euro finals, Capello said: "No. I think he will be involved in the Olympic Games."
Beckham was a part-time coach and sounding board at the World Cup, having missed out on the squad through injury, The Sun reports.
But it seems unlikely Capello will repeat the experiment in this summer's Euro finals.
"I haven't thought about this," he said.
Beckham last played for England in the World Cup qualifying victory over Belarus two years ago. (ANI)
