London, Jan 12 : Soccer star David Beckham recently showed off the latest addition to his huge collection of body art -- a famous image of Jesus and his cross etched on to the right hand side of his torso.
The ink-obsessed footballer's latest tattoo is a tribute to his beloved grandfather Joseph West, who died in December last year, aged 83, reported dailystar. co. uk.
Over the last decade, Beckham has steadily added dozens of tattoos to his body, all of them having a personal meaning to him.
In his autobiography "Both Feet On The Ground", Beckham said of his tattoos: "They are all about the people in my life, my wife and sons, who I want to have with me always. When you see me, you see the tattoos. You see an expression of how I feel about Victoria and the boys. They're part of me."(IANS)
