New York, Feb 10 : Brandon Jacobs has apologised to Gisele Bundchen for telling her to "shut up," when she slammed the Patriots team for their defeat in the Super Bowl.
Speaking on ESPN Radio, Jacobs said that he's sorry he said Bundchen should "stay cute and shut up" after she was caught on camera ripping her hubby Tom Brady's receivers.
"Given the fact that it's a colleague of mine's wife, I do apologize for saying that, because I shouldn't have said that," the New York Daily News quoted the New York Giants star as saying on the show on Wednesday.
"It's his wife and I should respect that just as much as anyone else.
She is very cute. But (there are) some things that just shouldn't be said by your wife," he said.
Asked if he thought it was alright that he referred to Brady's wife as "cute," Jacobs said "No question. He should take that as a compliment.
"If he finds something wrong with that, then that's his problem," he said. (ANI)
