London, July 7 : Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam is on the verge of completing his move to Liverpool after passing a medical at the club’s Melwood training complex.
Liverpool has agreed a transfer fee, reported to be around nine million pounds with Blackpool, and Adam is expected to agree personal terms within the next 24 hours.
The 25-year-old will now become Kenny Dalglish’s second signing of the summer, as the Liverpool manager has already bought Jordan Henderson from Sunderland for 16 million pounds, The Sun reports.
Dalglish still hopes he can make it a hat-trick of British players by persuading Aston Villa to drop their 20 million pounds asking price for Stewart Downing. (ANI)
