London, Han 12 : French midfielder Franck Ribery is almost certain to leave Bayern Munich, and has admitted that he could be on his way to Chelsea this summer.
The 45million pounds midfield star is certain to leave Bayern Munich. He conceded that Chelsea is in a two-way fight with Real Madrid to get him in their squad.
Ribery, 26, said: “The same names crop up. People talk about Real Madrid and Chelsea and these are big clubs.”
“I don’t think it’s a soap opera that will drag on for long. I think things will be decided within the next two or three months. I would like things sorted out before the World Cup,” The Sun quoted Ribery, as saying.
Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti is a big Ribery fan, while club officials are hopeful their transfer embargo, currently suspended, will be completely removed in the summer. (ANI)
