Beijing Wang Feng and Qin Kai continued China's dominant showing in diving Wednesday as the pair secured gold in the men's 3- metre synchronised springboard event at the National Aquatics centre.
Weng and Kai claimed victory with a points total of 469.08 after their six rounds with Dmitry Sautin and Yuriy Kunakov of Russia taking silver with a total of 421.98. Ukraine claimed bronze with 415.05 points.
China has already taken gold in the men's and women's 10m synchronised platform events as well as in the women's 3m synchronised springboard.
China now hopes for glory in the individual events as well as it seeks all eight diving golds at the home Games to cement its dominance of the sport over the past years. (dpa)
