London, Feb 22 : The Chelsea board is all set to grill Ashley Cole for smuggling girls into the team’s hotel on the eve of matches.
Cole is now set to be hauled before Blues chiefs to explain his misdemeanors and could face further punishment.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will also fine Ashley Cole 200,000 pounds for smuggling girls into the team’s hotel on the eve of matches.
The Chelsea owner was so angry over love rat Cole’s sex scandal that he ordered chief executive Ron Gourlay to be tough with the Blues’ sinning stars.
Now fresh revelations have emerged that the England star romped with American girl Ann Corbitt in Seattle during a pre-season trip to the United States last summer, The Sun reports.
Cole, 29, is also said to have convinced Chelsea head of communications Steve Atkins that this latest story was not true.
And now the club hierarchy is embarrassed to have discovered that he may have lied to the senior club official, who was then implicated in a cover-up aimed at stopping details appearing in the papers.
Cole smuggled secretary Vicki Gough into his hotel room before last season’s away games at Hull and West Brom, which has made Abramovich furious.
The Russian tycoon is already angry about captain John Terry’s affair with Vanessa Perroncel, the former girlfriend of ex-star Wayne Bridge. (ANI)
