Cristiano Roanaldo couldn’t care less if his move to Real upsets Ferguson

London, June 2: Portuguese striker Cristiano RonaldoPortuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo has underlined his growing disregard for Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson by saying that he is prepared to secure a world-record transfer to Real Madrid. (Join Cristiano Ronaldo Fan Club)

Ronaldo fanned the flames by insisting that he did not care if his stance was upsetting Sir Alex.

He said: “I don’t mind if people get upset. It’s my decision. It’s what I want.”

Ronaldo revealed that he has not spoken to Ferguson for several weeks while listening to the advice of Luiz Felipe Scolari, the new Chelsea manager.

The superstar winger finally admitted that he wants to move to the Spanish giant against the wishes of Ferguson.

The Sun quoted Ronaldo as saying that a concrete offer was on the table, adding: “The possibilities of me going to Madrid are great.”

Manchester United has stressed that their 70million pounds-rated Portuguese ace is not for sale.

The Old Trafford side has even reported Real Madrid to FIFA, claiming that the Spaniards were making illegal approaches for their player, who still has four years left on his contract.

A United source last night said: “The manager has been saying very strongly that Ronaldo will not be sold.”

Ronaldo decided to quit Manchester United and join Real Madrid before last month’s European Champions League Final.

The Portugal superstar has finally uttered the words that boss Alex Ferguson feared ever since United beat Chelsea on penalties in Moscow, admitting he wants to leave Old Trafford. (ANI)
