, August 23 : Ace footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has splashed out 150,000 pounds on a number plate for his motor.
The Man United star paid such a huge sum just to obtain the registration CR7, his initials and shirt number at Old Trafford.
The number plate will be placed on Ronaldo's 140,000-pound silver Bentley convertible.
“Cristiano is developing an obsession with CR7. It has to be on everything he owns – cars included,” British tabloid The Sun quoted a source as saying.
“He has been after the number plate for ages and finally got his hands on it,” the source added.
At least the new number will help ease confusion in the Carrington training ground car park. There are a lot of Bentleys lined up there after all.
Besides this personalised registration number, Ronaldo is said to have his logo inscribed on a cupboard, sofa and bed cushions, matching his seven-shaped table and jewellery in his Cheshire mansion. (ANI)
