New York, Feb 7 : Dennis Rodman, who is recruiting players for his topless basketball squad, has assembled most of the starting lineup.
The former NBA star is hoping his svelte squad will take on a team from rival strip club Rick’s Cabaret in April.
For his initial lineup, Rodman’s recruited dancers Polina, aka Skip to My Lou-Lou, as his point guard; Layla as a small forward he’s nicknamed Bare Jordan and Adrienne, a center he calls Stretch.
Rodman held auditions last month at Headquarters, where “everyone got into sexy outfits.”
“We had to play two-on-two,” the New York Post quoted Adrienne as saying.
The 5-foot-9 center says she’s a Knicks fan, and that Carmelo Anthony is her favorite player.
Rodman also took his squad for a “bonding dinner” at Lavo on Thursday night.
Thrilled witnesses say the Worm, as Rodman was known in the NBA, jumped up during the meal and got his players to dance. (ANI)
