Ranchi, April 1 : The Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has initiated a dialogue with Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni to set up a Dhoni Cricket Academy in Ranchi, a top company official said Thursday.
'We have a dream to set up a Dhoni Cricket Academy in Ranchi. We have initiated dialogue with Dhoni,' R. K. Saha, chairman cum managing director of CCL told reporters here.
'He assured he would talk to the Jharkhand government to get land to set up the cricket academy. The CCL wants to set up a Dhoni Cricket Academy on the lines of the Sourav Cricket Academy in West Bengal. Jharkhand has no cricket academy and this will help upcoming cricketers,' Saha said.
