Hamburg - The Netherlands were held to a 1-1 draw by Denmark in a friendly international Thursday ahead of the forthcoming European Championships.
Ruud van Nistelrooy gave the Dutch a 12th-minute lead in Eindhoven, but Denmark levelled through Christian Poulson nine minutes into the second half.
The result came five days after a 3-0 win over Ukraine by the Dutch who are in a group with world champions Italy, Romania and France at Euro 2008.
Coach Marco van Basten made five changes, and two of them - van Nistelrooy and Arjen Robben - combined well to allow the Real Madrid striker to open the scoring.
The Danes, who have not qualified for Euro 2008, were stronger after the break when van Basten made a series of substitutions.
In Duisburg, Germany, Turkey enjoyed a 2-0 win over Finland in the last of three test matches before they meet Portugal on June 7 in their first game at Euro 2008.
Tuncay Sanli opened the scoring in the 15th minute before Semih Senturk notched the second in the 89th.
Turkey, who had beaten Slovakia 1-0 but lost 3-2 to Uruguay in their Euro 2008 preparations, on Sunday end a 14-day training camp at Marienfeld in Germany and travel to their tournament base at Geneva.
The other group opponents for coach Fatih Terim's side are co-hosts Switzerland and Czech Republic. (dpa)
