England football coach Fabio Capello says he is up there with the Queen

England football coach Fabio CapelloLondon, Apr. 26 : England football team coach Fabio Capello believes he hold the third most important job in the country — after the Queen and Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

“This job is the most important one after the Queen and the Prime Minister. Being England manager is something very special here,” The Sun quoted him, as saying.”

But despite his six million pound salary, the ex-Real Madrid supremo urged fans to be patient with him.

Capello, 61, insisted England — who spectacularly failed to qualify for Euro 2008 — DID have the players to win soccer’s greatest prize.

He described the Premier League as the “best” in Europe — but admitted it was a problem that just four in ten players were English.

He added: “What is true is that I have an important and exciting job.” (ANI)
