London, Feb 8 : Axed England captain John Terry is not retiring just yet from international football, a close source has revealed. The Football Association (FA) had stripped Terry from England's captaincy after it was clear that he would go to trial for allegedly racially abusing QPR defender Anton Ferdinand in July.
But sources close to Terry have told the BBC that he is not reconsidering his international future. Terry has maintained innocence over the racism accusations that took place during Chelsea''s 1-0 defeat of QPR Loftus Road in October. It is also the second time that Terry has been stripped of the England's captaincy.
England coach Fabio Capello has said he is disappointed with the removal of Terry ahead of the European Championships this summer. (ANI)
