Federer stays top of ATP rankings for another week

Federer stays top of ATP rankings for another week Hamburg  - Roger Federer continues to top the men's ATP tennis rankings issued Monday but Spain's Rafael Nadal will take over from next week.

Nadal will replace Switzerland's Federer as the world's number-one ranked tennis player next week following results at the Cincinnati Masters.

Federer has held the top ranking for an unprecedented four and a half years.

Meanwhile Britain's Andy Murray has risen three places to his best-ever number six ranking after beating Novak Djokovic of Serbia 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-5) in Sunday's final of the Cincinnati Masters.

Andy Roddick of the United States slips from sixth to ninth.
