Melbourne, Feb 13 : Australian batsman Peter Forrest has said he will postpone his wedding if he is selected for the West Indies tour.
"That team (for the West Indies) is not even picked yet, it''s a long way down the track, but hopefully, if I keep scoring runs, we can make a tough decision there. I''m pretty sure if I get picked there is only one thing to do, I am definitely going to the West Indies," The Telegraph quoted Forrest, as saying.
His statement came after he scored 66 in his ODI debut against India in the Adelaide ODI. Australia will play a one-day series and three Tests in the Caribbean in March and April - with the dates clashing with Forrest''s wedding to his fiancee Rachel.
He said he is keen to play in all three formats of the game.
"I''d like to think I can play all forms of the game. I think I am a better player now, I have made a few technical changes which have helped this year," Forrest said. (ANI)
