Melbourne, Feb 18 : Former Australian cricketer Glenn McGrath hasn’t got engaged, says his manager Warren Craig.
Ever since McGrath, 40, was spotted out in public with his new girlfriend Sara Leonardi, who his first girlfriend since the death of his wife Jane to breast cancer 18 months ago, the media has been speculating about their relationship.
The subject of McGrath remarrying is understood to have caused some major headaches for the cricketer and his manager this week with the pair attempting to handle the subject of a new girlfriend with great sensitivity.
“I am not making any comment about the couple’s relationship, but I do find it odd that Woman’s Day is the only publication that hasn’t called me to discuss it,” the Daily Telegraph quoted Craig as saying.
McGrath has, however, agreed to tell all to The Australian Women’s Weekly, which is understood to have made a generous donation to his McGrath Foundation charity, with insiders putting the donation at some 250,000 dollars.
He and Leonardi are understood to have given the magazine an exclusive interview in return for the donation. (ANI)
