Greece train behind closed doors for Euro 2008 in wake of defeat

GreeceAthens  - Defending champion Greece will train for Euro 2008 behind closed doors from now on, Greek television reported on Monday.

The reports said that Otto Rehhagel decided to ban fans from practice in order to have his players more concentrated.

Greece lost 3-2 against Hungary in Budapest on Saturday, a result the German Rehhagel named "a warning at the right time" on Monday.

Greece will continue its Euro countdown in Frankfurt, Germany, and play Armenia on Sunday in nearby Offenbach. It is the final tuneup match ahead of the June 7-29 tournament in Austria and Switzerland, where Greece play Sweden, Spain and Russia in the group stage. (dpa)
