London, Sept 18 : Real Madrid football star Cristiano Ronaldo has once again said that he is keeping the doors open for a possible move from the club some time in the future.
Two weeks ago, Ronaldo had said that he would be like to sign a new contract with the club, but added that he would never say he would stay with the Spanish giants forever.
He has again repeated his earlier claims, saying: "I will never close the door on any club. If I do change then Barcelona will be a door that is a long way away. I am happy here and if I had to renew my contract with Real Madrid for the rest of my life, I would be happy to do so.”
The striker, who has scored four goals in two BBVA Primera Liga matches this campaign, spoke of the need for his club to win titles after three seasons totally dominated by FC Barcelona, Xinhua reports.
"A club such as Real Madrid cannot be a long time without winning a competition as important as the Champions League or the Spanish League. I am confident that things will change this season, we have started well," he added. (ANI)
