Adelaide, Jan 28 - India dropped a place to the third spot in International Cricket Council (ICC) Test rankings after their humiliating 0-4 whitewash by Australia in the Border Gavaskar Trophy that concluded here Saturday.
India, which had entered the series in second place on 118 ratings points, has fallen to 111 rating points. Fourth-ranked Australia has boosted its standing in the Championship table after gaining eight rating points which has put it alongside India on 111 rating points.
