Seekirchen, Austria - Giorgos Karagounis and Sotiris Kyrgiakos both trained separately Thursday as defending European champions Greece continued their preparations for Tuesday's Group D opener against Sweden.
Karagounis, who also missed Wednesday's session due to an inflamed left knee - preferring instead to work out in the team's hotel gym - went through a fairly rigorous routine on his own without any apparent problems.
Kyrgiakos completed a much lighter exercise, doing some light jogging in the company of a physio before leaving the training ground early.
Striker Angelos Charisteas and left-back Vassilis Torosidis played a full part in training after only managing light jogging on Wednesday while right-back Christos Patsatzoglou and defensive midfielder Alexandros Tziolis returned after being rested.
Around 1,000 locals and Greek fans turned up at the Sportzentrum Aug in Seekirchen to see coach Otto Rehhagel put the defending European champions through their paces with a ten-a-side match on a reduced size pitch. (dpa)
