Los Angeles (US), Jan. 21 :Los Angeles Galaxy bosses have admitted they would love to sign Chelsea star Frank Lampard.
The 33-year-old is reportedly struggling to hold down an automatic his place in the club eleven under boss Andre Villas-Boas.
Lampard, who has 18 months remaining on his contract, has previously insisted he has no intention of quitting Chelsea.
But according to The Mirror, L. A. Galaxy have refused to rule out trying to lure him to the US to play alongside David Beckham, who this week extended his stay in Major League Soccer for another two years.
MLS teams can have three "designated players" (DPs) whose wages can exceed salary-cap restrictions.
And Galaxy chief executive Tim Leiweke said: "I am a fan of Frank's. I think he is a great player. When I think of Chelsea, I think of Frank Lampard." (ANI)
