London, July 20 : Chelsea vice-captain Frank Lampard says he is not sure club and England skipper John Terry will stay on at Stamford Bridge.
This startling admission is the most revealing indication yet that Terry could join Manchester City.
"I don''t know what he will do. I''ve been in John''s position and everyone at the club wants him to stay. I know what he''s going through. I had an option to leave last summer, to go with a manager in Jose Mourinho who I love. But it came to me at a time in my life that, maybe, just wasn''t right," The Sun quoted Lampard, as saying.
"You can never take away what he''s done for Chelsea. He''ll always be a legend. I hope and I''m confident that, whatever happens, he will be considered a legend at the club," he added.
Terry, 28, has yet to be offered a new deal and City''s interest intensifies with every day that passes without agreement between the Blues and their captain.
The Premier League''s richest club are willing to pay Terry over 200,000 pounds-a-week to make the switch but Lamps said that his mate will not move just for the money. (ANI)
