Man U owners eyeing 1.7 billion pound Hong Kong flotation

London, June 13: Manchester United owners, the Glazer family, are reportedly considering returning the company to the stock market in a 1.7 billion pound flotation that would see it listed in Hong Kong rather than London.
According to The Daily Star, the Glazer family has held talks with several investment banks about listing the club on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Bankers have told the Florida-based tycoons that the listing could value the club at 1.7 billion pounds.
The amount would be more than double the 790 million pounds they paid for the club in 2005.
United's revenues of 286 million pounds and operating profits of 91 million pounds were the highest in the Premier League last year. (ANI)
