 Manchester City to make last ditch bid for Alexis Sanchez London, June 20: Manchester City is likely to make a last effort to get Udinese star Alexis Sanchez into their side by making a renewed bid.

The Eastlands top brass are refusing to allow 22-year-old Sanchez to move to European champions Barcelona.

According to reports, Sanchez is likely to reject Manchester City and will sign a deal with Barcelona.

Manchester United, who were confident of clinching a 27 million pound deal with Serie A Udinese last week also were in the fray for signing Sanchez.

Barca will make a down payment of 25 million pounds and another 10 million will be results. But City are prepared to offer far bigger wages. (ANI)
