Nov. 8 : Cristiano Ronaldo could be in line for a dramatic return to
Manchester United — at Rio Ferdinand''s testimonial.
Rio, 33 yesterday, will reach a decade at Old Trafford next summer and
the club will propose a variety of options to mark the feat.
It is understood United''s top brass will discuss a yearlong series of
events and fundraisers with the defender in January, The Sun reports.
That will include a testimonial match — with Ronaldo high on the wanted
list if they can make the dates work with Real Madrid. (ANI)
