London, Apr 2 : Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is not sure of retaining his job if the club fails to qualify for the Champions League.
City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak at the start of the season has set Champions League qualification as the minimum requirement after investing heavily in the suqad.
City are currently fourth, just four points ahead of fifth-placed Tottenham having played a game more.
Mancini said: "I have a three-year contract. I don't know if my position depends on finishing in the top four - I don't think so. We don't want to finish fourth, we want to finish third if possible."
"I don't know my future at the moment, just as I don't know the future of players like Craig Bellamy and Emmanuel Adebayor. We have many players out on loan who will come back to us," The Sun quoted him, as saying.
"But now it is very important to achieve our targets. I don't know my future. You can't know your future, because anything can happen in life. At the moment our target should be the next few weeks," Mancini said.
"But regarding these last eight league games and the FA Cup semi-final, anything is possible," he added.
Mancini will need an upturn in form to achieve his goals in the league and Cup, where they face Manchester United in a semi-final showdown. (ANI)
