Monchengladbach thrash Stuttgart in BundesligaBerlin, Jan 30 - Borussia Monchengladbach put pressure on the top three teams of the Bundesliga football with a faultless 3-0 victory over Stuttgart.

Monchengladbach had no problem against a toothless Stuttgart side. Mike Hanke opened the scoring with a header from a free-kick in the 31st minute.

Monchengladbach's young midfielder Marco Reus doubled the lead when he finished a fast break in the 81st minute and Igor de Camargo sealed the deal scoring the third in the 84th minute.

This win takes Monchengladbach to fourth position, one point behind the top three who are all tied on 40 points and Stuttgart are in tenth position with 22 points.

In an other match, Mainz climb from 15th to 12th place with a 3-1 victory over Freiburg, who slipped from 17th to 18th position. (IANS)
