London, Aug 22 : After Jose Mourinho failed to get Chelsea striker Didier Drogba, the Real Madrid boss is all set to launch a 20 million pound move for Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
Mourinho's success to get Adebayor at Madrid will make Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson happy, who has a long-standing interest in Real Madrid's striker Karim Benzema.
Mourinho would love to be reunited with Drogba, but Chelsea insists that the 32-year-old striker remains at Stamford Bridge. So Mourinho is now ready to switch his sights to Adebayor, the Daily Express reports.
Mourinho is ready with a 20 million pounds offer to test City's resolve to keep the Togo striker, who insists that he is prepared to stay and fight for his place at the club. (ANI)
