London, Feb 13 : Newcastle manager Alan Pardew has said he would like to see more players from Tottenham Spurs playing for England, as his side was thumped 5-0 by the London-based club on Saturday.
"I''d love to see that lot in England shirts!" The Sun quoted Pardew, as saying.
Pardew thinks Spurs are still title contenders and are impressive as a unit. I''d like to see all of them in an England shirt.
They''d probably win everything!" "It''s a good team, a very good team.
Tottenham have got a chance of the title," he said. Spurs manager Harry Redknapp is the front-runner for the vacant England manager's spot and Pardew believes Redknapp has a difficult decision to make.
"I think Harry''s got a tough decision because this isn''t a team you want to walk away from," he said. (ANI)
