Premier League boss Scudamore lauds English football

Premier League boss Scudamore lauds English footballLondon, Jan 12 : English Premier League boss Richard Scudamore has praised the manner in which English football has tackled the racism crisis. The Football Association had claimed that the game had been harmed because of Luis Suarez''s racist attack on Patrice Evra. But Scudamore has claimed that English football’s record in dealing with racism has been appreciable and therefore the English football as a brand hasn’t suffered, The Sun reports. “I don''t think the brand has been damaged. English football''s record in dealing with this issue is good. I''m proud we are in a country that reacts as we have. It''s better than what goes on in other countries,” said Scudamore.
