Recession notwithstanding, Abramovich worth nearly 11 billion pounds

London, Feb. 16 : Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly increased his fortune to 11billion pounds.
According to The Sun, the Russian oligarch''s wealth rose 22 per cent last year after a revival in his energy, steel and gold-mining interests.
Abramovich, 43, last year wrote off loans to Chelsea worth a whopping 340-million pounds.
He fell to third on the football rich list, behind Man City owner Sheikh Mansour and QPR''s steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittal.
Abramovich also has to settle for third place on Russia''s rich list. (ANI)
